Cheque bounce

Hi

I have a case going on in the court, one of my CLOSE friend had cheated me with INR 50000, he had taken as there was marriage in his family, the cheque he had given had bounced, I filed a case againt him, after 4 appearences in court and Judge telling him to do the lawyer he has done the same, in the last date he acclaimed that he lost a bag and in that there wer cheques which has been misused, Judge has taken the petetion and in the next date asked for cross questioning. I would like to ask the forum, how de we move forward as I dont think there is FIR lodged for the loss of bag.

Request help for adequate quetions that can be asked, Also accused had acknowledged that he does not know me, and he is not aware of the cheque and signatures are it his.

If anybody needs more information please do not hesitate

Regards

Exactly, as the FIR is not there, the onus is on him to prove there was a loss of cheques and why did he not do stop payment immediately.

Also, in this regard, how you gave money would be equally important.
