What procedure should be followed by the heirs of a tenant after his demise?can the letter requesting transfer of tenancy rights in thename of the tenants wife be given to the landlord or the person who collects rent on the landlords behalf?The property is a commercial establishment falling under the Maharashtra Rent Control Act.Thanking members in advance.

Just exdecute a new rental agreement between the landlord and the tenant's wife.

Jointly ( me & Mother) lease rent agreement with Landlord, Mother want to transfer her share to me in her lifetime otehrwise Brother & Sister may claim in future. Please send me proforma of related Transfer Deed , and also advice me is it necessary for Notary. And can I change lease agreement with my name in spite of Joint Agreement.
