Had a settlement deed

Hi,

My father made a settlement deed to me last week. But neither my photo nor my sign wsa requested during settlement registration. Only my father's photo and sign were asked. Is this way how settlement deed registration works? Also, after registering the setllement deed, in whose name the property will reside?
