Hi ,
I was interested in one property (Independent House) for which I have almost completed all Process and was just waiting for few process to be completed from Bank to get the loan .
I just got to know now the property is built on government land and is under illegal construction , I have already paid 4.5lakhs to Owner , now I want to cancel the sale deed and agreement and get back my money.
What is the procedure , kindly let me know

Issue notice to the seller to cancel the agreement of sale stating the reasons if there is agreement of sale and return the money. Same procedure has to follow in case there is regd., sale deed.

Sale Deed is complet why u r not seen the documents of the property at the time of purchase and not seen the title clear certificate and plan pass copy. now u give a notice to the owner or seller and cancle the agreement and paid a stamp duty as per law. Other wise u go to court for illeagel construction.
