Pl refer to Sec 58 (f) of the Transfer of Property Act,1882. Only some towns like Mumbai,Calcutta ands Madras are covered by the original act and any other town as the state govt may by a notification specify. Please let me know whether the City of Pune (Poona) in Maharashtra is covered by this section and if so give the details of relevant notification. I shall be obliged .
