memebership in BAR

I HAVE JUST GOT ENROLLMENT UNDER STATE BAR COUNCIL, KINDLY TELL ME IS IT NECESSARY TO GET MEMBERSHIP OF LOCAL DISTRICT BAR ASSOCIATION AS THE JOIN FEES IS TOO HIGH THAT IS Rs 15,000/- AND RIGHT NOW I CAN NOT AFFORD IT. BUT IF I GET THE MEMBERSHIP OF HIGH COURT BAR ASSOCIATION WHERE THE MEBERSHIP FEE IS Rs 4000/- THEN SHALL I PRACTICE IN MY LOCAL DISTRICT COURT. KINDLY SUGGEST ME AS I M A FRESHER IN THIS STREAM...........

Mr. after getting ur enrolment with the BCMG, u should ave registered with any local Bar Association, where u intend to regular practice to get d benfits of amenities of d association. hwoever it is not at all necessary to get membership forry. u can get after some time. however i m not convinced dat d membership fees is of Rs.15000/- of any local bar association. it may be patron fees or life membership fees. u can get yearly membership, which may be nominal. however unless u get d membership fees, u can not claim d amenities of d association as a matter of right.

it is surprising that -

THE JOIN FEES IS TOO HIGH THAT IS Rs 15,000/-  for district court bar assn.

whereas HIGH COURT BAR ASSOCIATION WHERE THE MEBERSHIP FEE IS Rs 4000/-

however it is confirmed that a state bar assn member may appear at dist court.
