Dear all,
Let this be known for the pensioners who retired between 1.1.06 to 23.5.2010 (non central govt employees) that some people have moved the High Court at Indore for the effective date of the recent gratuity amendment bill 2010. The govt has notified the effective date to be 24.5.2010 while for central govt employees it is effective from 1.1.06 following 6th Pay commission recommendations.

You can challenge the notification in any High court if you are not satisfied with the date of coverage.
