Notice Period Serving

I joined an organization with 3 months notice period, I resigned from their asking for serving of 1 month notice and 2 months buyout. but in my offer latter no option for buyout, hence company ask me to serve 3 months notice.
now after serving one month notice I just left the organization putting mail to my boss that from today I won't come and consider yesterday as my last working day in organization and attached the handover sheet to that mail.
now company is sending me notices to resume duties or else they will initiate legal action against me.
please suggest what should I do?
what are the legal actions can be taken by employer
