Can Grandfather transfer the land to his son and later sell the same land ?

My grandfather's father had 6 acres 28 guntas of land. My grandfather has 2 sons. In 2009 he and uncle sold 4 acres of land to a party A without concern or sign of my father. So my father filed a case regarding this in 2012.

And in addition to that , in remaining 2.28 acres of land my father has 9.5 guntas including old and new house which my grandfather given to him in written and it is registered in gram Panchayat as well but not in Taluka panchayat in 2012.

But in 2015, my Grandfather sold the remaining 2.28 acres to the party B which also includes the 9.5 guntas given to my father and our house.

So now the party B claims the right on 9.5 guntas (as he took it from grandfather in 2015 and registered in Taluka Panchayat)which is in my father's name (according to Gram panchayat from 2012)

Please suggest the solution.

Thank you.
