Dear Anaita,
It has been explained in Sec 65, of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 that to produce the Secondary evidence, party must prove that they are not able to produce the originals in few circumstances. And the submission of secondary evidence is allowed only in certain specific conditions like
Although, Secondary evidence is a certified copies, it must be registered as certifying like true copy.
