In IPC if accused vaolet the two sections then penalty of which section shall appy ???

In both sections imprisonment has prescribed then which apply??

The punishment fior jail term will be for both the sedctions but the punishment might be served together i.e. he shall have to serve the maximum period of jeil term provided in the said two sections.
