Land acquired through midc, awaiting compensation since 1 year

My father owed 35 acres of land that was under Govt. reservation to be acquired through MIDC. We got the notice for the same in 2014. My Father surrendered the land in Dec' 2017 and we are still awaiting compensation since 1 year. What are the legal remedies that can help us in this case. We have met the collector in this regard and have tried everything. Others have received compensation for the same whereas my father is being told that the compensation shall arrive shortly throughout the course of the year. Please help.
