gpf withdrawal

i joined as talathi in year 2004 and resigned in 2009.this year i applied for gpf.but Ag mumbai office is denying intrest till this year.they have calculated amount only till year i resigned.should i take that amount.whom should i approach further.

File this as grievance in their on line portal and specifically seek the laid down norm of paying interest on such outstanding amount from date of resignation to refund of amount. Probably you will get such clarification within a day. You can also seek information by filing RTI on line to EPF with simple question.

1.Please provide me the laid down norm on payment of interest on outstanding amount from date of resignation to date of refund.
