We have a society with 30 members, objective of our society is to start up our own business to generate self employment among the members. And beside that we have charitable mission also. As such we are looking forward your kind suggestions that under which government or department the Registraion could be applied.

The Indian Societies Registration Act of 1860 was enacted under the British Raj in India, but is largely still in force in India today. It provides for the registration of literary, scientific and charitable societies.The memorandum of association has to be filed with the Registrar of Societies.
