DWS means Defendent Witness. It will not be allowed by the trail court for ulimited times, a last warning will be give, recorded in the daily order to the defendent after that if still the defendent fail to bring his witnesses in the court for examination etc. the defendent's evidence will be declared closed by the trail court. This the usual procedure and practise followed in court proceedings in civil cases.
