We have done an agreement of sale and payed 4 Lacs to previous owner. Also payed Challan amount of 2 lacs to Government for registration. Registration is planned in next two days. But In recent visit, we have found water seepage issue in cellar parking. There is a Pond just beside the apartment. I have checked FTL level of Pond through HMDA website, after seeing this issue.It is been observed half portion of apartment is FTL level, remaining half in buffer area. But project is got approved by HMDA. We are feeling that water seepage is through ground from that Pond due to recent heavy rain. More over this might be serious issue for apartment foundation. So we are thinking about the cancellation of this sale. What could be the implications on us.
