Sir, I have been selected as a Group A post in govt of India .All verification procedures are over except the "Character and Antecedent Verification" as per i filled in the Attestation form given by the UPSC.I have not be involved in any criminal activities and no case is registered against me till now.I want to know how is the Verification procedure carried out and how much will it take to complete the procedure.I have mentioned three places of my residence where i have lived for more than an year in last five years.Should i need to submit any documents for address proof in all those residencial address.Kindly let me know the complete verification procedure and how will i come to know that verification if over successfully or not?
