Wedding photographer messed the whole wedding

Our wedding photographer took the payment to cover 2 days event and we have the quotation for the same. But his team forgot to shoot video for my two events plus even on wedding day didnt film the pheras and even the bride's parents. Have been charged alot..almost 90% paymnt done and now its been 8 months and no relevant data... What shall we do to get the money refunded and teach him a lesson for cheating us and ruining our wedding as well as our memories?

File a police complaint against the photographer u/s420 IPC.Also file either ordinary civil case or consumer forum complaint with District consumer forum for deficiency in service by th photographer and refund of your money+ interest + exemplaery damages by the photographer.

First of all, serve a legal notice on him.

Also, please note that marriage is a far more solemn occassion than mere videos and photographs!

File complaint before District Consumer Forum for deficiency in services of photographer and claim refund of your money along with compensation towards mental and physical agony caused to you also cost of litigation.
