Complaint in consumer court

Sir,  I shall be grateful if it is intimated whether a complaint can be filed against

manufacturer in Consumer Court if the warranty period is over.  Is there any

other legal action which can be taken against the manufacturer if the product

is found defective after the warranty period is over.
