Misappropriation of the property in custody

i have sent my car in service station for servicing. after some time they said that my car has stolen by some one and they lodged an FIR after three months delay. almost 2 years are going to pass but nothing was done by them. now they are denying to provide the car or any compensation. what remedy is available for me. where i can approach to get my car.

Hope you have the acknowledgment, or some documents showing that Car was in their custody.

You have given a very long rope to them.

Now you approach Highcourt anf file a writ of Mandamus seeking directions to police to act on FIR and take action on culprits.
