One of my friend has a retail shop in Delhi region. VAT is at par till now. My friend is just having a counter sale and no big tenders or orders. Can VAT number be cancelled, esp. in the current demonitisation situation. Also, his CA told that GST process will cost INR 4000 and is govt processing charges only.
Please help.
