Assault on a higher officer

sir,

how should an assault on higher officer and a contract employee doctor be addressed and proceeded as per rules?

assault was made by a nursing orderly group c staff (regular employee) on doctor on duty group a staff (contract employee).

how are charges framed? whats the procedure of enquiry, charge sheet, and disciplinary action could u pls explain in detail

For violation of any of the desciplinary  rules, an employee shall be subject to penalties ranging from a formal written warning notice up to, and including, discharge. Deliberate or careless conduct endangering the safety of self or other employees, including the provocation or instigation of violence is called indiscipline.
