PIL on this issue was filed in 2012 by a law student Shreya Singhal in Supreme Court to strikes down ‘draconian’ Section 66A of Information Technology Act.
Similarly, There should be a PIL to strikes down 498A and other gender biased laws also.
Whether SIF or any other NGOs are thinking on it?
