A close relative recently received judgement for divorce, maintenance and stridhan under section 13, 25 and 27. What would be the process to get permanent maintenance and Stridhan awarded to her. Lawyers with whom she has discussed so far have given very different answers. I was wondering if anyone can help her and answer what should be the next step in execution of judgement/order.
One caveat is, she lives with her parents where she pursued divorce petition and judgement was given but her ex-husband lives in different state. Would this make it difficult for her to get maintenance and stridhan as per judgement.
