Case against sho, if denied to register fir

It is the comman problem that SHO refusing to register FIR or he register FIR after direction of SP / Megistrate as per CRPC 154 & 156.

What are the legal provision in our law against SHO (police station incharge) , if he denied to register any FIR ? How to process for the same ?

At a glance it appears that he is not performing his job correctly, but legaly in which specific law we can file a case against him ?

If the magistrate has directed and he fails to do that then remedy lies in Contempt of Court application in the High Court. If otherwise he is not obliging the order of a senior officer - file a writ of mandamus
