Property partition hindu

Hindu property partition

I and my brother partitioned our grandfather’s (my father’s father) land in the year 1988.  My grandfather had no brother or sister.  My father also had no brother or sister.  The land was registered in my father’s name after expiry of my grandfather.    My father died in 2001.  The land was partitioned in the presence of my father during my father’s life in 1988.  We have one sister, she got married in 1968.  While partitioning the land we did not get any consent or written relinquishment statement or any signature from her assuming that she has received dowry from my father.  Now the land is in my and my brother’s name (separate partition deeds for me and my brother).  I want to know whether she still has any right over the land for reopening the partition.  If she will get any share if she goes to the court by filing a suit?.

Kindly do mention the state you live in as some states have effected amendments to the Hindu Succession Act, operative from different dates.
