Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to
issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to include the name of the
petitioner for appointment of Assistant Engineer/Electrical, by internal Selection,
on the basis of the suitability invited by the 2nd respondent vide letter
No.058434/1061/G.55/G.551/2017-1 dated 12.07.2017, based on the Equivalent
certificate issued by the Centre For Academic Courses, Anna University Chennai-
25, vide Letter No.1456/AU/CAC/2018 dated 20.04.2018, communicated by the
Commissioner Technical Education, vide Letter No.47375/Y2/CDC/2017 dated
14.05.2018.

O R D E R
This Writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to
direct the 2nd respondent to include the name of the petitioner for appointment of
Assistant Engineer/Electrical, by internal Selection, on the basis of the suitability.
The second respondent, vide letter No.058434/1061/G.55/G.551/2017-1 dated
12.07.2017, invited the proposal from qualified persons to fill up the post of 272
vacant post of Assistant Engineer / Electrical, by internal selection in the ratio of
1:1.
2.Heard the learned counsel on both sides.
3.According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the
petitioner has made a representation dated 26.07.2018 for appointing him to the
post of Assistant Engineer (EL), through internal selection, before the second
respondent, but, the same has yet to be disposed of by the second respondent.
Challenging the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4.The learned standing counsel for the respondents stated that the Chief
Engineer/Distribution, Vellore Region, Vellore, has addressed a letter dated
11.10.2018 to the Chief Engineer/Personnel, TANGEDCO, Chennai, recommending
the petitioner for the post of Assistant Engineer through internal selection.
5.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though a
larger relief is sought for, it would be suffice if the representation submitted by the
petitioner is considered by the respondents.
6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the
respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.10.2018 on
merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of
receipt of a copy of this order.
7.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently,
connected miscellaneous petition is closed.

based on that the tangedco send for equivalent committe tnpsc but the g.o.93 on 30/05/2019 issued the equivalence degree issue only in tamil nadu sate counil higher eduction but the judgment come on 21.12.2018
so the obey the judgment are not.

respect sir, i am the pertitioner i representation submitted on 27-07-17 to TANGEDCO . based on vit unvi ms (software engineer) for internal selection . based on that Tangedco send clarification to directior of techinal eduction weather the ms(software engineer) is Equivalent to BE or not based on that equivalent
certificate issued by the Centre For Academic Courses, Anna University Chennai-
25, vide Letter No.1456/AU/CAC/2018 dated 20.04.2018, communicated by the
Commissioner Technical Education, vide Letter No.47375/Y2/CDC/2017 dated
14.05.2018. based on that i submitted represtation to tangedco on 21/10/2018 with all documents and the court order issue on 21/12/18 after the tangedco reply me the equivalent degree want issue g.o from tnpsc.so the letter forward to tnpsc by tangedco .on 5/03/2019. in same manner the tnpsc equivalence committ disband based on g.o 93 dt.31/5/19. the equivalence committ was formed by tamil nadu state counil of higher eduction. so my question based on court order the tnsche issues equivalent BE degree or not obey the court order.

i submitted court order on 11.02.2019 and date i submitted court order to tnpsc on 27.03.19
