entertainment at the cost of others

I have watched one serial telecast by a  TV Channel, a reality show, to select a talented singer of the year.  In the flashback they keep showing humorous and witty  footage of audition stage participants who were not selected for second level competition. In my opinion such footages in a way ridicule these unlucky participants and the object is to entertain  the viewers at the cost of such participants. . Could those being shown repetedly  have any actionable claim against the Channel ?.

Actually, the grapevine is that most of these are struggling actors paid to do these kind of stunts. very few participants are actually real. there is a lot more to 'reality' in a reality show.

The very same issue is agitating in my minds too.
