dear all,
I am a Hindu.we are four brothers & one sister.all are married. my mother is no more alive.my father has ancestral property. what rights the children have over their father's ancestral property? Can they ask for partition of proprty , even if the father is alive?

you should not ask for partion of the property as your father is alive....... this is the time to make the property by earning....

Kamal g welcome to the club.
I think you should have started a new thread rather then askin your question in some other's thread.between answer to your question is in 151 all courts inherents powers are saved but 482 only talks about high court. Rest scope of both the sections is same but of course area of operation is different.
