The rules regarding registration of firm are contained under the Registratio of Firms Rules of each State. The state govts. issued their own rules, which contain the procedure for Registration of a Partnership Firm and also the fees to be paid towards registration fees, which shall accompany documents sent to the Registrars of Firms or which shall be payable for the inspection of documents in the custody of Registrars of Firms, or for copies from the register of firms, in accordance with Section 71of the Act.
