Fake fir on car accident

Dear Forum Members,

Please advice me on the following matter:

My Friend along with his father was going to their Home from Village by Maruthi Car on 25 march 2011, in the road the Car's Stearing got locked and the car skid from road and they got some injuries and car was damaged to scrapped condition. Car was having Third party insurance cover so they havent file claime from insurance agency and thought to repair in some local garrage also they both have DL also.

Now , few days ago police contacted them that some body filed a FIR last week on this car No for an Accident which might have happned the same day near the spot ... by some other Car with Motor Bike .

please Advice how to handle this case. Which is totally FAKE.. and they(Motor Bike Person) are claiming that last six month onward injured person is in Hospital and taking treatment.....

Please Advice on this fake case.

What proof have you left behind of your car's accident, where, with whom and is it in writing?

It's unfortunate that someone can get injured in accident but accidents are natural. We can be careful when driving or doing any thing. Injury compensation is one of the relief factor to the injured person.
