Troubling neighbors with ac heat

We live in a gated community. Our neighbor has his AC outdoor unit opposite to our window in the drawing room. The hot air from it makes our home very hot and uncomfortable for us to use the drawing room. When he was informed about this and asked to move it, he is refusing to do it. How and where can I fight this?

1. Just simply throw some concentrated "sugar syrup", on his outdoor AC unit. Do it slyly and daily. This is probably the only civilised way to deal with such nefarious and inhuman attitude neighbours.

2. There is hardly any legal remedy available, for your grievances, hence avoid getting entangled with it.
