Adopting us born child in india in second marriage

Hi,

I am 38 years divorced male.

I am getting married to another divorce female. She has daughter, which was born in US. Now they moved to India and her daughter is on OCI visa.

When I get married, how I am going to adopt the US born daughter?

Thanks

You may visit the CARA website for further details without contacting a advocate.

Kids grow. These type of kids need love and affection.  There is a social angle to your case as the mother and child are from the US and you are an Indian.  You need to understand importance of parenting and bonding than worry about adoption rules and regulations.  That should be your priority, as adoption is just not on paper but a conscious decision which determines the succes of a new relationship.
