How to give up membership of selp helping group.

Dear Sir,

My mom is a member of Self helping group, Which was aided by Loan given by a bank. Now Bank is asking its liability back. but others group members are not paying any installment except my mom. Now the interest & Loan has increased to a big amount. My mother want to give up her membership. Also she was to pay the loan amount shared by her till date. Pls suggest how she can give up her membership.
