I am an Architect (Canadian Citizen) and residing in Canada for last 12 years. Earlier in India, Vadodara, I was doing architectural consultancy. During this period, I had only designed housing schemes for Govt. Organization VUDA. VUDA did the construction and allocated all units to owners. After 11 years, in 2013, Building collapsed and 7 persons died. In was in the news, It had happened because of poor quality of construction and maintenance. Now, I have come to know through local news paper that Police is in the process of issuing Red Corner Notice to arrest Architect (me). They intend to prove design fault.
Can anyone advise me that how much time this Red Corner Notice procedure takes? Can this really happen? How can I protect myself? I do not have any documentation with me of my past work what I had done India.
Please, help me to get justice
