Overseas education consultancy registration

Hello Sir,

We are planning to start a Partnership Business for Overseas Education Consultancy in Delhi. What are the Govt. Registration Certificates required for starting this Business? We plan to send Indian Students to Foreign Countries like UK, USA, Australia, etc.

Hello Joseph,

All wishes..You need to have following documents.

a) To register in Shop and establishment Act.

b) To register for Service Tax

* Few banks have policy of 2 registration for opening a bank account..

Yes Vivek is right, you are just an consultant. Partnership can also get registered if you want to do so.

Best Answer: hmmm i would charge for this consultation but let me help you for free this one time. You have told me that you want to send indian student overseas . In which case there are some basic things you shall need, First setup a small office in your house or in a small shop, next register your business with shop act, later you need to get knowledge in carrier counselling, know what students want to specialise in and what university provides the best degree, You need to have contacts with agents so you pay donation to them to get preferance, You need to study visa rules for students of different countries, you may hire 2 or 3 HR for it, Then get a website, brochure, pamplets etc etc, to market yourself. Ok For now i wanna ask you to do this first, then later you can do other things as per your income settles. It may take 4 lakhs to start this business depending on which city u live.
