Point to be kept in mind during sale of vehicle

Dear Panels of Advocate,

Sir/ Madam,

I intend to sell my 2 wheeler. what are the precaution i should take selling the vehicle. As I don't intend to indulge in legal complication after sale of the vehicle due to if any things happens to the vehicle after sale.

Please help

Ensure that the name of the owner is changed in the RC book of the vehicle i.e. the transfer of ownership of the vehicle should reflect in the RC book.

Thanks u Madam....

Please note that the vehicle is transferred to Uttar Pradesh & my vehicle belong to Maharashtra..... So should I take any extra precaution on the same. If it would been in and around Maharashtra or any other southern state I would not show the said concern.

Please guide.
