I got remarried after 4 months(125 days after divorce) of divorce. About 5 month of divorce (161 day), I received a summon from court that an appeal was filed by my first wife after 26 days of divorce. My lawyer assures me that since I had not been served a summon and I have married after 90 days waiting period, there is no cause for me to be worried. I would appreciate if learned person can offer their opinion on my particular situation. Is my second marriage valid?

If you have already remarried after lapsed of appeal period you need not to worry.

Dear Experts,
usually how long it takes to get summons? suppose court has sent summons through registered post and i was out of home, post man returned summons telling i was not reachable and they resent the summons by that time i got married is my married valid?

If there is no fraud played by you in the delayed service of summons then you are 100% safe.
