Land Sale Agreement (Puroni) validity

Hi Sir/ Madam,

We the buyer had a Land Sale Agreement (puroni) with the seller mentioning "Seller took half of the agreed amount and has to register the property within 2 months by taking the remaining half amount". The seller took the entire amount of money with in the mentioned period and delayed the registration for around 6 years. Now he is not agreeing to register the property. we have witness who gave money to seller and do not have any written proof for the money given except witness. Currently the land is under our enjoyment. can we go ahead with civil suit?

Please suggest what is the best possible way to solve this issue?

Thanks,

Kasi

Hi Sir,

Does it mean that we can not get our amount/ land back and can not proceed legally to get it registered?

Thanks,

Kasi

you can move further by filing " Application for condonotion of delay" with the petition. You need to tell the court why you couldn't file the case in time if court permits case can be proceed further. Your case is already very week hire services of a senior lawyer.
