I want to understand what is the legal importance of registered office of a private limited company.
The registered office and place of doing business activites if different. Are there any cases of disputes of registered office in Indian courts if there are then please provide some link which can be read for further information.

The registered office address is required for all govt. departments and private citizens to communicate with the the copany management to deal matters in varius activities. It must be informed to registrar of companies compulsorily.
