Dear Learned ones, can a husband be a witness in case of wife's s*xual and mental harassment which took place at her work, which she later reported when she came back from work.
No lady supervisors were in the company to report. Collegues and friends though informed do not want to involve in the matter for the fear of losing their job.
Kindly advice accordingly.
P.S: this question is with reference to both civil and criminal matter.

yes husband can be a witness as he was told about the harassment in office , After all evidence also leads to appropriate police inquiry in the instant case to nab the culprit and bring him to justice pl. tks

Today I was informed that husband cannot be produced as Primary witness as he was not present in the office (when and where the actual harassment took place) ...
Can he be produced as a secondary witness, as hearsay witness statements do not carry much weightage in court ...

no hearsay witness are not admissible in evidence but court may consider it circumstantially means if court consider that presence was so probable but practically Hear-Say Evidence are not admissible in Evidence
