The Bar Council of India Rules prescribe strict regulatioons as to an advocates dress code. An advocate has no choice in the matter of dress while appearing in court and may not be permitted to appear if incorrectly attired

Yes, there is a dress code prescribed for the advocates and it is to be strictly followed while appearing in the court and if the advocate is not wearing the appropriate blazer/gown with bands then, the judge will not even hear his/her submissions.
