Full bench and full court

What is the difference between full bench and full court in India? What about other countries?

Full Bench in High Courts comprises of Three Judges hearing a case and giving independent judgement if their opinion differs or collective judgement if their opinion agrees. Recently such Full Bench Judgement was delivered by Three Allahabad High Court Judges in Ram Janma Boomi case.

In Supreme court, it goes up to 9 judges for any dispute on Constitutional Issues.

Full Court (less formally, full bench) refers to a court of law consisting of a greater-than-normal number of judges. Thus, in relation to a court usually presided over by a single judge, a Full Court would comprise a bench of three (or more) judges;

Thanks for your replies. I read somewhere that the full court of the supreme court makes the decision to appoint someone as a senior advocate of the supreme court. So this is a three member committee?

No. Members consist of its judges.

If any advise is required they take helps from the senior advocates.

Full Bench means 13 Jugdes. The only case so far where full bench was present is Keshavanandan Bharti's case.
