School fee hike rules

We are Running a Pvt. Un. aided CBSE School in Madhya Pradesh. As per the compition is growing in education field we have to Increase the employee salary and school facilities. For this we need to increase the school fee by 25%. and we have got the consent of school managing comitee as per CBSE Guidelines. Is this leagally correct? Is there anything which stops us to hike the fees by 25%? Some Says you cannot increse more then 15% accoridng to law? Do any outside politial agency have right to interfere in school managment? Please Clarify

It is felt that CBSE has issued a circular to this effect:

CBSE/AFF/CIRCULAR/2011         CIRCULAR NO:2 DATED: 21st February, 2011

The school can increase fee with consent of parents.

The verdict of Punjab and Haryana high court, the private schools must provide details of their expenses in 'Form VI' to justify any kind of increase in the tuition fee. It is further provided as a condition that only those schools which have submitted information in Form VI as per provisions of Rule 158 of the 2003 Rules within a stipulated period shall be allowed to enhance the fee.

Madras High court ruled on Friday that Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools are bound go follow the state-level statutory fee fixation committee.

Thus you may check with CBSE, state-level statutory fee fixation committee.

Valuable advice of learned experts/members is sought.

Nowadays everyone admitted their child to the best school but these schools take too many fees which are not affordable to parent. So it is necessary to select the school by analyzing its fees structure. Here is the list of top CBSE schools Nagpur which provide the best education and quality education at affordable price.
