Hi,
We take Bank Guarantees from our members. The bank guarantees are issued in various states and we store the same in Mumbai. What is the stamp duty applicable in this case? Whether the respective state act or Mumbai Act?. Is there any repurcussions if the Bank Guarantees are stored in Mumbai?

where bank gauarntees ahve beene xecuted stamp duty paybale would depend on that fact .
merely storing same in mumbai wont determine stamp duty liability .
