Dear Sir/Madam,
Can you please give me the details of charges for transfering my father's property to his two brothers ? My father has got two brotehrs and all the properties are in his name. Now he wants to transfer the divided properties to his two brothers. This is in Orissa.
Please advise the procedure for the same.

He has to exeucte the regd., rights relinquish deed in favour of his brothers. Stamp duty will be charged in accordance with state Stamp act.

It is better to go for Family Settlement and thereafter get the rights declared from Court..
