MONEY RECEIPT format

Could you please tell me what is the format for MONEY RECEIPT for receipt of part payment (20% of the total price of the property), received against selling of a property (flat). This MONEY RECEIPT is required by the buyer for loan disbursement (rest 80% of the price of the property).

Please tell me

1. Is there any specific format for the MONEY RECEIPT required by banks?

2. Should there be a revenue stamp affixed?

3. Should it be signed by the seller or buyer or both?

Cash Receipt

Received with thanks form _____________Rs.______(rupees_______)only as part payment out of total sale consideration of Rs._______towards purchase of property No:________.

Place;

Date : Signature

Buyers signature is not necessary. It is a receipt issued to the buyer by the seller. Retain the copy with by taking acknowledgement on the receipt as " received" by the buyer.

I think revenue stamps are not available, if you got affix it and sign.
