Community Certificate

Hello All,


My wife belongs to BC (Sengunthar), while I am SC, My question is, After marriage can she avail my SC reservation quota for State / Central Govt exams? and entitled to apply for competitive exams? still her Community certificate in BC category. we need to get new community certificate?

btw, we got the IC (Inter caste) Marriage certificate from Distirct Thasildhar.. Can we utilize this certificate for this UPSC / TNPSC exams? Please clarify.

You can apply for SC certificate for your wife, provided both of you are accepted as SC s in the locality. The revenue officials need to convince that you wife has been accepted as SC. A statement will have to be filed for this. Then the Tahsildar will issue the SC certificate for your wife also.

There is no issue for Inter Caste Marriage certificate, If I am going to get this SC community certificate for my wife right?
