civil case

at request call on 16-08-2019 for plaintiff evidence. what does it mean? whether I have to appear before magistrate my advocate produce the evidence on behalf of me.please help me understand this.

your advocate will be better person to comment

You are the Plaintiff (person who filed the case) or the Defendant (the person against whom the case was filed)?

If you know who you are in the case, you can easily understand what to do with the help of your Lawyer.

Retired employee.

If you are the plaintiff you can either prefer answering to your own advocate in the witness box or prefer filing an affidavit stating the facts, as decided by your own advocate.  The evidence stated on oath through witness box only carries legal value and sanctity once it stands for cross-examination also.
