We bought a property in my wife's name several years back. My wife's name is written as G.Mahalakshmi (my name is Gnani) in the document. My wife's name as per her school records is B.Mahalakshmi. Even in Patta it is written as G.Mahalakshmi (Years back, no other documents like PANCARD, Passport or Ration Card need to be included in the sale deeds).
Now we want to sell the property. I donot know whether there would be any difficulty. If there would be difficulty, how to overcome that.
I request advice.
